can a bridge be constructed using wooden logs?

The Sagamok Bridge, located in Fort LaCloche, was designed as part of Design Studio 9 for the Sagamok First Nation and represents an ongoing collaborative effort. Intended to replace a deteriorating bridge, the new design utilizes eight cedar logs harvested from the surrounding area by the Sagamok First Nations. The design group was tasked with creating a pedestrian bridge that also serves as a shelter against the weather and can withstand the elements, all while seamlessly blending into its natural surroundings.
